Thinking About Lunch

After my last post about great things happening when you pack a lunch, it got me thinking this week about when Jesus fed 5000.

Jesus was teaching to a huge crowd and the disciples came to him and said he should stop because the people needed to leave to go get some food. Jesus challenged them and told them to give the people something to eat. The disciples said it was impossible. Jesus challenged them again and told them to go and see how many loaves of bread they had. All they could come up with was five loaves of bread and 2 small fish that a boy had brought with him.

What if this boy hadn't packed his lunch?

Because this boy packed his lunch and was willing to give it freely, cheerfully and immediately, Jesus used that small amount of food to perform a miracle and feed many many people. God will use whatever we give to Him and multiple it for His purposes.

Great things do happen when you pack your lunch! Read It: Mark 6:30-44. Chew on that.
